Description

Holmer Green Windmill was built in about 1830 as a tower mill to grind grain. Built from flint rubble, it stood for about 100 years before collapsing in 1929. This picture was taken about five years after the collapse, when the ruins had become nothing more than a place of curiosity for schoolboys and their dogs.
