This is a photograph of an earlier photographic image. It is believed that the image was photographed by PEW Street c1920-1950
The photographer's notes state: 'Copy. The house. View of the west front from S.W. from the garden of Effingham Lodge on the west side of the road. A portion of the back of the latter house on the right hand side. (From a photo taken by William Willis senior before 1870, in the possession of the late Mr William Mansfield.)'.
The Rookery was located on the east side of the High Street and was destroyed by a fire c1980.
