Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Top floor. Room in the south part of the west front of the old part. Old panelled door and old hinges, earlier than the house, in the east side'.

The Rookery was located on the east side of the High Street. It was demolished after being gutted by a fire in 1980. At the time this photograph was taken the house appears to have been unoccupied.
