The photographer's notes state: 'North Cray Place. The Park. Large clump of trees on R, and cedars on L. in the park, to the S.E. of the house. Horses below the clump. The drive can just be seen going across in foreground. The house is behind the trees on the left'.
North Cray Place was demolished in 1962 to make way for the North Cray Estate. The grounds later became part of Foots Cray Meadows.
