The photographer's notes state: 'Looking east along the more southerly of the two paths that traversed the flower, fruit and kitchen garden from west to east to the old stable drive. The box bush lined path crosses this path in the middle distance'. [The box lined path to which he is referring can be seen in BB71/08674]
Lamorbey House was located on the south side of Halfway Street, close to the corner with Old Farm Road East. It was demolished between 1936 and 1937.
