The photographer's notes state: 'Looking north N. east up the westernmost path of the kitchen garden towards the house. Garden wall along the Cray Road on the left. Pear trees along the right side of the path',
Twysdens was demolished in stages between 1940 and 1948. The area which the house occupied, on the south-east side of Cray Road, is now the site of a Coca-Cola factory.
