Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The house. The old part. The ground floor passage, looking westwards to the hall in W. front. Queen Anne cupboard door on extreme right. Entrance on right to the original staircase'.

Twysdens was demolished in stages between 1940 and 1948 and the area which the house occupied, on the south-east side of Cray Road, is now the site of a Coca-Cola factory.
