Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The house. The old part. The original staircase from the 1st floor passage. Looking N. east. The steps on the left lead to the attics and are of oak'.

Twysdens was demolished in stages between 1940 and 1948 and the area which the house occupied, on the south-east side of Cray Road, is now the site of a Coca-Cola factory.
