Description

The photographer's notes state: 'No 219 (formerly No 97) High St. (n. side & opposite entry of Foots Cray Rd). Used as an almshouse. On the extreme right is the "Cage" (the old lock up transformed)'.

There is also an additional note stating: 'The "Cage" was demolished in Feb. 1932'.
