Description

The photographer's notes state: Village Street. Nos 4 (nearest), 3 2, & 1 Nash's Cottages on E. side. No 5 not visible to right. Beyond the people can just be seen the south end of Ivy Cottages through the trees'.

Nash's Cottages were located at the north end of the east side of the village street (now Main Road), close to the junction with Chapman's Lane. They have since been demolished and the site is now a terrace of 8 modern houses.
