Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Mount Mascal. Looking up the side avenue from the same point towards the house'.

Mount Mascal, so named for the Mascal Family who had owned the property in the Tudor period, was built c1600. It was located on the east side of North Cray Road, on the site of what is now Home Close Farm and Jacquets Court. It was demolished in 1957.
