Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Main wing roof looking west along N. side. Rafters of the original & steeper roof of the Great Hall on left. Roof widened later. Glimpse of W. wing roof (higher) & entrance hall part roof (small) on right'.

The farmhouse at Manor Farm was located on the east side of the Orpington Bypass (now Cray Avenue), just to the south of the railway line. It was demolished between January and February 1936.
