Description

This is a photograph of an older photographic image. It is believed that the image was photographed by PEW Street c1920-1950.

Underneath the image is written: 'The Garden. Old Flour Mill, St Mary Cray'.

The photographer's notes state: 'View southwards. River Cray on the right. Sluice at the further end of the path. This is the one on the lake that appears in the foreground of in No 1303. Described as the garden of the Old Flour Mill. From a photograph in the posession of the Misses Snelling. Probably taken by R. V. Harman'. [No 1303 refers to BB71/09237]

There is an additional note stating: 'The Old Flour Mill and the Mill-house were demolished about 1885?'.
