Description

This is a photograph of an older photographic image. It is believed that the image was photographed by PEW Street c1920-1950.

The photographer's notes state: 'Copy. View northwards on the same path as in No 1304. Outbuildings and greenhouse. In front of the latter can be seen the early 13th cent. stone font, formerly in St Mary Cray Parish Church. The Manor Farm can be seen in the distance by the railway embankment. The Mill to the right out of the picture? From a photograph in the posession of Misses Snelling. Taken by R. V. Harman'. [No 1304 refers to BB71/09238]

There is an additional note stating: 'The Old Flour Mill and the Mill-house were demolished about 1885?'.
