Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Looking north up the above grass walk to the great ash. The herbaceous border on the right. The pool on the left. The first island on the left'.

Effingham Lodge was located on the west side of the High Street, opposite the Rookery and to the south of Spring Hall. It was demolished some time after the Second World War.
