The photographer's notes state: 'View eastwards of the house and trees from the above field. Among the trees are the deodar and a lofty horse chestnut on the right'.
There is also an additional note stating: 'The house, the bakehouse and the old cottage were all very badly damaged in an air raid in Sept. 1940, and were demolished later'.
The site of the house is now known as Green Cedars.
