The photographer's notes state: 'The former garden looking west. The southernmost bit of the east front of the house visible. Yew trees on the right. The horse-chestnut & deodar on left. The west field in distance'.
There is also an additional note stating: 'The house, the bakehouse and the old cottage were all very badly damaged in an air raid in Sept. 1940, and were demolished later'.
The site is now Green Cedars.
