Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The Priory. The auditorium space looking S.E. Rambler roses on the pergola. Yew hedge on left. the acting takes place below the pergola and beyond on right'.

It is believed that the 'auditorium space' that PEW Street is referring to is the box office garden designed by Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe, but this has not been confirmed.
