Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The block of 2 cottages just east of "Childs". South front. The easternmost but one of the dwellings on the N. side of the village road'.

According to a map published in 1963 these two cottages are identified as 16 and 18 Crockenhill Road. It is not known, however, whether they were numbered as such when the photograph was taken or whether this happened afterwards.

The cottages have since been demolished.
