Description

The plaque reads 'Miners' Welfare Fund. Lynemouth Colliery Pithead Baths. These baths erected by the Miners' Welfare Committee in pursuance of the Mining Industry Act of 1926 were opened and handed over to the trustees on 3rd June 1938'.
