The Bedford Lemere daybook lists the interior designers as Atkinson and Co and the client for the photograph as Horace Ledger. In the daybook, the subject of the photograph is recorded as 'Princes Chambers, Coventry Street from writing table', however one of the prints is annotated with 'Prince of Wales Theatre, Managers Room'.
