Description

The Hotel Victoria, a grand hotel opened in 1887, was designed by architects Isaacs and Florence for Gordon Hotels Limited. The hotel closed in 1940 when it was requisitioned by the War Office and was later purchased by the Government in 1951. It is now known as Northumberland House.
