Description

The house itself was designed by John Vardy, and the architectural features of this splendid room were designed by James Stuart. The photograph was commissioned by the 5th Lord Spencer, and was also reproduced on p.155 of Joseph Friedman's book 'Spencer House: Chronicle of a great London Mansion' (1993).
