Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the architect of this building was Sir Arthur William Blomfield, and that the photograph was taken for McCorquodale and Company, Limited. The building was subsequently demolished, perhaps during construction of the new Church House complex in the mid-1930s, and a bookshop now stands on the site.
