Description

The London Pavilion was built in 1885 by James Ebenezer Saunders. It ceased to be a variety house in 1934 and was gutted and converted to a cinema, although it continued to be licensed for stage plays and music. The Bedford Lemere daybook records Ibbetson in the architect field (possibly Herbert George Ibberson), and Miles as client.
