Description

The Adelphi Hotel was designed in 1912 by Frank Atkinson for the Midland Railway Company. Work on the building was interrupted by the outbreak of war in 1914 and Atkinson's original design was never completed. This photograph was taken for H H Martyn and Company Limited, decorators and furnishers.
