Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records the site as the "Brush Electrical Works". The Brush Electrical Engineering Company specialised in electrical engineering and the construction of tramcars and motor vehicles at the Falcon Works. The photograph was taken for steel construction engineers Archibald D Dawnay & Sons Ltd., who provided the steelwork for the new building.
