Description

The SS Omar was built in 1896 by the German company Vulcan Shipbuilding Corp as the SS Konigin Luise. After the First World War she became part of the war reparations made to Great Britain, and in 1921 was sold to the Orient Steam Navigation Company and renamed the SS Omar.
