Description

The premises is listed in the historical directories as being on Tooley Street, but it is also possible that it was on Green Bank, which adjoined Tooley Street. There is a street name of Pitts Court on the side of the building; Pitts Court no longer exists but once occupied the site presently occupied by Braidwood Street. The photograph was commissioned by Armour and Company Limited.
