The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Westminster was built between 1895-1903 on land purchased by Cardinal Manning. The architect was John Francis Bentley. This photograph was commissioned by John A Marshall, assistant to John Francis Bentley, who succeeded Bentley as Cathedral architect upon his death in 1902.
