Description

Of the 1600 men who volunteered for the Stock Exchange Battalion of Royal Fusiliers, 408 never returned home. The Stock Exchange memorial was unveiled by The Earl of Balfour, K.G., O.M. on 27th October 1922. The Bedford Lemere daybook records R Langton Cole as commissioning the photograph.
