Description

The photograph was taken for the Empire Stone Company Limited, manufacturers of artificial stone, who were likely to have been involved with the construction of the building. It is unclear who the gentleman standing in front of the building might be, but it could be the architect, Bowden, or potentially Arthur or George Wander.
