This French villa and its grounds dating from the early 1920s was later named Chateau de la Croix des Gardes. The photograph was taken for J Goldman who purchased the house in 1925, and who in 1927, opened the Palais des Bijoux in Paris selling the luxury jewellery brand Burma.
