Description

Norwich School can trace its origins to an episcopal grammar school founded in 1096 by Herbert de Losinga, 1st Bishop of Norwich. It was refounded as the King Edward VI Grammar School in 1547, and the 14th century chapel was purchased by the school in 1550.
