Description

Worcester Cathedral was restored by George Gilbert Scott and A. E. Perkins between 1857-1863; Scott then refitted the choir between 1864-1874. Most of the interior fittings date from the late 19th century, with mayn being by Scott. The choir stalls date from Scott's later period of work at Worcester. The original return stalls were removed and new side stalls, incorporating medieval misericords, were carved.
