Description

Holbeche House, also known as Holbeach or Holbeache, was the site of a battle between the several key conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 and the forces of the Sheriff of Worcester. As a result of the fight, many of the conspirators were captured or killed, including Robert Catesby.
