Description

The illustration is reproduced as figure 120 on page 129 of the 1993 English Heritage Book of Bronze Age Britain by Michael Parker Pearson.

When excavated the barrow at Irthlingborough was found to have at least 184 cattle skulls as well as an auroch skull.
