The first illustration depicts castle staff packing the Lord's possessions onto carts and horses. The second illustration shows the Lord, Lady and their retinue on horseback, travelling from castle to castle. The third illustration depicts retinue horsemen racing ahead of the main convoy to announce the Lord's imminent arrival at the next castle.
