Description

This illustration was created by artist Ivan Lapper. A note on the mount attached to the painting states that it was commissioned for reproduction on information panel number 1 at the site. It was also reproduced on pages 22-23 of the 1991 and 2002 English Heritage guidebooks for Stonehenge and its neighbouring monuments (and also in subsequent reprints of these editions).
