Description

The ship lies on its broadside looking towards The Needles, with low tide making access to the ship easy for looters. Looters travelled from various counties on the mainland to plunder the ship's goods. This illustration was reproduced on page 117 of the publication 'England's Shipwreck Heritage: From Logboats to U-Boats', by Serena Cant, published in 2013 by English Heritage.
