Description

This drawing was used to produce IC285/007.

It is based on, with the consent of Edmund Kirby & Sons, William Culshaw’s original drawings in Lancashire Record Office, DDX 162, 97/42–51.

The front office space is shown as fitted out for C Horsfall and Sons, merchants and shipowners, circa 1862 - 3, whilst the rear space is based on the designs used by Messrs Richards, Mills & Co, ship brokers, in 1875.
