House, formerly a farmhouse. Early C16, and C17 with C19 extensions and alternations. Timber framed, rough cast rendered and painted brick with gault brick rear extension. Plain tile roofs; local brick ridge stack, and C19 end stack to south, C16 cross-wing. Two storey C17 hall range with cross-wings of one storey and attics. Cross-wing gables without windows; two small windows in hall range with mid C19 two storey hung sash bay window in position of original cross passage to right hand.

Main entrance in closed gabled porch to north cross wing and mid C19 side entrance to south cross-wing with side lights and panelled door. C17 local brick boundary wall to north with round arched opening in return at junction with house. Interior details largely C19 with boxed ceiling beams. Large C17 inglenook hearth; wind braced side purlin roof to south cross-wing.
