5121 (north side)

Nos 16 and 18 ST 3161 NE 9/46 (National Westminster Bank) II GV 2. Late 1860's Italianate bank on peninsular site. Ashlar. Modillion eaves to hipped slate roof. Three storeys, symmetrical facade to South Parade, door at each end.

Three glass sash windows. Central tripartite arcaded windows recessed in moulded arches with half columns. First and second floor windows are grouped 2:3:2, round headed on first floor. Heavy, bracketted string course at first floor. Heavy projecting cornice. Return elevation to west has 3 round headed windows. Originally Stuckey's Bank.
