GV II

Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. C18 remodelling of earlier structure. Cob between rubblestone gable ends, continuous thatched roof with brick ridge stack to left of centre and rubblestone external stack with brick shaft to rear right at junction with thatched outshut; pantiled rear left wing. Probably formerly 3-unit plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys; 5-window range. C19 two-light casement windows with small panes, those to the first floor at eaves level, those to the ground floor with slate weathering. Bracken, to the right, has raised and fielded panels to a C18 six-panelled door to left of centre, under a slate lean-to porch on brackets. The entrance to Greenslades, in the left return, is a C19 door in a pantiled gabled porch. INTERIOR not inspected.
