Shown on OS map as No.11. Bank. c1910 for National Provincial Bank. Ashlar with later brick rear extension, roof unseen, stone stack to right return. Rectangular plan on corner site with lower rear extension in Market House Lane. Edwardian Baroque style. 2 storeys; 7-window range, 5 windows to the front, that to the right on a curved corner, 2 windows to the right return. A curved balustraded parapet to the front and right return is over a dentiled cornice. The central 3 bays to the front and the 2 to the right return are stepped forward and articulated by Ionic Columns in antis to the first floor, moulded architraves with keystones dying into alternate triangular and segmental-arched pediments to 6/6-pane sash windows. The ground floor, with banded rustication, has C20 glazing to segmental-arched windows with moulded keystones, decorated with lion's heads. The porch, with blocked columns supporting an open segmental-arched pediment, has an oculus in the tympanum. INTERIOR not inspected.
