Includes: No.1 Midland Bank PARK STREET. House with shops, now a bank. c1850. Painted stucco, hipped and bracketed slate roof with brick stacks to right and rear. Irregular L-shaped plan. 3 storeys; symmetrical 4-window range. Banded rustication to ground floor and banded pilasters to all 4 corners of upper floors. These have flat arches to late C19 horned 2/2-pane sash windows; the ground floor has plate glass to the ground-floor windows, those to the returns which have 4 windows to the ground floor have segmental arches. The door, to centre front, has a shallow hood on consoles. INTERIOR not inspected.
