EGLINGHAM EGLINGHAM VILLAGE NU 1019 (South side) 19/167 No. 27 31.12.69 (Gate Lodge to east of Eglingham Hall) GV II

Gate lodge, dated 1826 with initials R.O (Richard Ogle) ESQ on lintel. Tooled square stone; Welsh slate roof. 1 storey, 2 bays. Plinth. Central boarded door flanked by 12-pane Yorkshire sashes, all under hoodmoulds. Hipped roof with overhanging eaves, and central stepped-and-corniced ridge stack. Similar window and small 4-pane casement on left return.

Later extension to rear is not of special interest.
