5104 Handsworth B18 Main Block to Handsworth Technical College SP 08 NW 6/9 II 2..
Circa 1885. Red brick with stone and cut and moulded brick dressings and some timber-frame trim; tile roof with lofty chimneys. Asymmetrical composition of tower flanked by three 2- and 3-storeyed gabled bays on the left and major accent of 2 large gabled bays on the right. The gables principally with timber- framing, but the tower and the adjacent gabled bay to the right has flush stonework.
The windows mostly sashes of 2 and 3-lights, tall and segment-headed on the ground floor. Spire rises in an octagon from a gabled and pinnacled square base. Slate spire with gablets and metal landing. Only this part described is listed.
