5104 Highgate B12 No 94 (City Day Nursery) SF 0885 NW 53/2 II GV 2.

Circa 1850-55, tall 2 storey three bay stucco villa with slightly recessed 2 storey 1 bay wings. Plinth, first floor plat band, bed mould to frieze and eaves course with console brackets to flat eaves of gable end slate roof. Tall flanking corniced stucco chimneys. Tall ground floor windows with ear footed architraves rising from plinth, moulded cornices in plat band with the blocking courses acting as plinths to the architraves of the first floor windows; a similar link is provided to the attic storey architrave windows which cut into frieze. The central first floor window in not surmounted by an attic light and rises from the roof of the pilastered, enclosed, parapetted porch. The porch has a moulded plinth and between the pilaster its walls have chanelling returned on the front into the reveals of the doorway. Double panelled doors with rectangular fanlight. The recessed wings have cornices and blocking courses, architraves to windows.
