BOVEY TRACEY EAST STREET (north side) SK 8178 Bovey Tracey 11/56 No.4 East Street: granite plaque - reset in terrace wall immediately opposite Front of Guest House GV II

Granite plaque carved with inscription 1654 TD : ED in worn Roman capitals. The plaque has been reset in the stone rubble retaining wall of a terrace of houses half-built when seen in 1984. Neither the houses nor the retaining wall are included in the listing. The plaque is said to have come from a building previously on the site.
